This statement of beliefs affirms that there is one eternal God revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; that all humanity is sinful and needs salvation, which is available only through Jesus Christ, who is fully God and fully man, lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose again, ascended to heaven, and will return. The Bible is God’s inspired, error-free Word and the complete revelation of His redemptive plan. Salvation is a free gift received through faith, and believers are empowered by the Holy Spirit to grow in holiness and live a life dedicated to God. The Holy Spirit also baptizes believers with spiritual gifts and power for service. Every person will exist eternally—either in heaven with God or separated from Him in hell. Believers are called to fulfill the Great Commission by sharing the gospel, and Christ’s work on the cross also provides healing for the body.
